The City of Forest Animal Control Division of the Public Works Department is located upstairs in the Colbert Commons Building and is responsible for protecting the general public in our beautiful city from animal-related threats. Our Animal Control Officer, Sam Warren, is responsible for the removal of dead animals inside the City limits and addressing all animal related issues/problems throughout the City of Forest including minor animal related nuisances.
You can contact our Animal Control Office by calling Ms. Sharon Coker at (601) 469-2251. Once Ms. Coker receives a call, she will then contact our Animal Control Officer. Once contacted, Mr. Warren will contact you either at your residence or at his office located in the Upper Colbert Commons Building, 105 East 1st Street, P.O. Box 298, Forest, MS 39074.
