The City of Forest Fire Department provides their citizens with the highest quality of fire protection, emergency medical response, rescues and extrication services possible. The City of Forest Fire Department is currently rated as a Class 7 with the Mississippi State Rating Bureau due to extensive training, record keeping, dedication, maintenance and diligence. Because of this rating, our Fire Department offers residents and business owners lower fire insurance rates for their homes and businesses.
The City of Forest Fire Department is a combination department consisting of a full time staff of highly qualified and well trained firefighters and volunteer firefighters.
The City of Forest Fire Department is the only full-time department in Scott County. We strive to provide its citizens with the most expedient and reliable fire services possible as well as consistently maintaining an average response time of less than five minutes.
