Fire Department

The City of Forest Fire Department, located at 337 East 2nd Street, provides the citizens of Forest with the highest quality protection, emergency medical response, rescue, and extrication services. The City of Forest Fire Department is rated as a class 7 department with the Mississippi State Rating Bureau, which in return offers area residents and businesses with lower fire insurance rates. As a combination department, the City of Forest Fire Department has a full-time staff of 8 firefighters, which are reinforced with 10 volunteer firefighters, which are reinforced with 10 volunteer firefighters. As the only full-time department in Scott County, the City of Forest Fire Department strives to provide its citizens with the most expedient and reliable fire service possible.
